Job Description

1. Analyze the processing technology, waste generation and waste disposal/utilization destination of a manufacturing supplier or specific industry (such as metal casing, screen module, camera module, chip packaging and testing, etc.) for brand customers
2. Identify waste reduction projects in factory manufacturing, packaging and transportation (such as process optimization, material reuse, in-plant recycling, etc.), guide factories to provide specific instructions for waste reduction projects, and report to customers regularly
3. Discover opportunities for factory innovation projects (waste reduction at the source/recycled material application/supplier closed-loop recycling), guide and urge supplier factories to implement innovation projects, and report progress to customers regularly

Location

1. Based city: Shanghai
2. Working hours: 5 standard workdays

3. Business travel frequency: 30% - 50%

    

Requirements

1. Bachelor of Science / Engineering or above degree in Materials, Electronics or other relevant majors
2. Familiar with the general processes of manufacturing (electronic product preferred) and the generation of waste (including but not limited to waste plastics, waste metals, waste chemicals, etc.)
3. Understand the recycling/disposal of various types of waste, and be able to propose the best treatment method for the specific situation of waste
4. Experience in process verification of recycled materials (mainly post-industrial PIR) applied to the process is preferred
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, logical and analytical skills, independent thinking and decision making skills
6. Strong capability to learn, research and solve problems independently
7. Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Mandarin
8. Have a strong interest in sustainable development, circular economy, carbon neutrality and other related topics, focus on value creation, and desire to innovate

9. Abide by professional ethics, rules and regulations
