Paths to a net-zero carbon footprint on campuses in Latin America
This digital course for Latin American universities provides basic knowledge about the net-zero concept. It shows the essential steps towards a net-zero carbon footprint on campuses, while promoting organizational and practice-oriented learning.
How does a university become carbon neutral? This digital course provides an understanding of the necessary strategies and steps to be taken. Using practical examples, participants learn all about the key success factors in the areas of energy, buildings and mobility. Each university is given an opportunity to develop a project idea, with the best teams then receiving coaching and funding to realize their projects.
With the generous support of the UNESCO, the course was developed jointly by CEELA and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
